This upper die set includes two uppers for Mechammer, one flat and one for reverse curves. Each has a replaceable phenolic insert for non marring of soft materials. Phenolic dies act similar to a mallet and shot bag, or a rubber band on the upper wheel of an English Wheel. The goal is to move material without stretching the metal.
